Want to test if your swimmers are still strong in number? If you're having trouble starting a family maybe you have a low sperm count. It can be an embarrassing problem for men however it's an issue that shouldn't be ignored. A low sperm count basically means that the semen you ejaculate when having sex contains fewer sperm than normal. This will dramatically decrease the odds that a sperm will fertilize your partner’s egg, so having a baby is more unlikely.

An increase in circulation can mean healthier sperm.

As a man, there a few tell-tale signs to look out for if you're worried about low sperm count. Symptoms can include:-

  • Problems with sex - have you got a decreased libido or problems keeping an erection?
  • In the testicles - any pain or swelling or lumps?
  • A decrease in body hair or hair on your face?

Changing your habits

If you are having low sperm count symptoms how about changing your habits?

  • Try not to overheat your testicles – this is why testicles lie outside the body, they must stay at a lower temperature than the internal organs. If they become overly warm, not as much sperm is produced. Avoid tight jeans and pants, don't wear underwear to bed and keep your testicles cool.
  • When playing physical sports use a jockstrap or padding as a hit to the groin area can hurt and destroy the sperm.
  • Regular exercising and massaging of the body can improve circulation and create healthy sperm.
  • Learn to lower your stress levels as stress can weaken your sexual function leading to a lower sperm count. Try and keep yourself stress free and get a good night’s sleep.
  • If you’re a smoker, try to stop. Smoking can also cause your sperm count to be lower.
  • Drink alcohol in moderation, too much can affect your liver which in turn lowers testosterone levels

The Sperm Count Test at Home:-

There’s no need to visit the doctor to test sperm count. Many men don't like visiting a doctor if they’re concerned that they might have a low sperm count. It’s a macho thing, an issue which is not nice to admit to. Even if you do have a low sperm count it doesn't necessarily mean you can’t start a family. Having the support from your wife or partner can help enormously when talking about the decision to buy a sperm count test kit.

Why buy a sperm count test kit?

  • The main benefit of buying a sperm count test kit is you can carry out the test discreetly in your own home.
  • They are easy to use and inexpensive to buy.
  • This type of test kit will help you figure out if you’re dealing with sperm problems or male infertility.
  • Using a sperm count test kit avoids you having to do the same test at the doctors or lab. It will give you an idea of how strong and the number of sperm present. After using a sperm count test kit you and your partner can move forward to plan ahead for the future.

Sperm Count

Sperm count or a semen analysis can be done to see how much sperm you still have. If the semen volume is too low, the sperm swim too slowly or the semen is too thick, these may be reasons why your sperm may not be able to reach or fertilize and egg.
